Terms of Use

Effective October 16, 2026 · Applies to the Recite app and recitecitizen.com
In short

By using Recite you agree to these terms. They are short on purpose.

1. What the app is

Recite is a study tool for the naturalization interview. It is not affiliated with USCIS or the U.S. government, and it is not legal advice.

2. No guarantee of results

Practicing helps, but only USCIS decides your case. We can't promise you will pass.

3. Answer checking

Answers are checked automatically and can be wrong. For your N-400, always rely on your actual form and, if you need it, an immigration lawyer.

4. Premium

Premium is sold through Apple or Google, either as a one-time purchase or as a monthly subscription. The price is shown in the store before you buy.

Payment is charged to your Apple ID or Google account when you confirm the purchase. The monthly subscription renews automatically at the end of each billing period unless you cancel it. On the App Store, cancel at least 24 hours before the current period ends; the renewal is charged in the 24 hours before that. On Google Play, cancel before the renewal date. You can manage or cancel it in your App Store or Google Play account settings.

Apple or Google handle refunds under their own policies. If you got the app from the App Store, Apple's standard license agreement also applies: https://www.apple.com/legal/internet-services/itunes/dev/stdeula/

5. Fair use

Use the app for your own preparation. Don't try to overload the answer-checking service or copy the app's content to resell it.

6. Changes

If these terms change, we'll update the date at the top. Continuing to use the app means you accept the new version.
